Alice Vickers is an Associate at Parker and Marriner. She graduated with her Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Political Science (1st class Honours) from the University of Otago in 2008. She began her career spending two and a half years as a general solicitor in a firm in Timaru.
Alice is a member of the litigation team. She takes pride in her strong work ethic, determination, adaptability and advocacy skills. These are fundamental to achieve outstanding results for clients in Family and District Court matters.
Alice is an approved legal aid provider in both Family and Criminal Law. She is an approved Family Legal Advice Service Provider. She has Level 2 Litigation experience. Alice is approved as a Youth Advocate for the Hawera Youth Court. Her passion lies in working in closely with clients to get them through difficult times by giving them realistic advice and arguing their case in Court strongly. She has a particular interest in Care of Children issues namely parenting and guardianship matters. Alice is also approved as Lawyer for Child.
She also enjoys providing both employers and employees with the advice they need.
Alice is a Taranaki Branch Council Member of the New Zealand Law Society and is also on the South Taranaki Blue Light committee.
She enjoys playing netball and likes to read. She is a keen traveller which has included studying for a semester in Prague Czech republic which gave her the opportunity to study in international law and politics.
